SMEs that need help planning and implementing innovation activities, e.g. competitive analysis or a technology assessment, looking for suitable collaboration partners, or setting up an innovation project and looking to finance it, can benefit from support from an innovation broker.
An innovation broker is not a grant advisor, but rather someone who focuses on enhancing innovation. SMEs can be reimbursed up to 50% of the cost of hiring an innovation broker via TKI Urban Energy. An innovation broker who has previously worked for TKI Urban Energy can be used for this, or an SME can propose their own innovation broker to the TKI for approval. SMEs can send applications for financial support from the TKI Urban Energy for hiring an innovation broker to: @email, using the reference ‘innovation broker application’.
