Consortia around solar

Four consortia have been established in total to promote innovation and implementation of solar energy systems. Each consortium has its own focus, namely: solar in landscape, solar on buildings, solar on water, and solar on infrastructure.

The National Consortium Solar in Landscape focuses on supporting the large-scale integration of solar energy into the landscape, considering it as a design challenge and ensuring careful and responsible implementation to accelerate the energy transition.

The National Consortium Solar on Water is a collaboration of over 35 parties in the Netherlands. The mission of the consortium is to make floating solar energy a great success in the Netherlands.

The National Consortium Solar on Infrastructure promotes innovation and implementation of (integrated) solar energy systems in the infrastructure for railways, highways, waterways, and bicycle paths in the Netherlands.
