As a forerunner in the energy transition, it is of course important that we look at our CO₂ footprint. In addition, we like to think along with you.

Yes, websites also have a carbon footprint...

The internet consumes a lot of electricity. 416.2 TWh per year to be exact. That is more than the whole of the United Kingdom per year in total.

Do you have a website? Check your carbon footprint on websitecarbon.com

  • Dark mode

Displaying the website in dark mode saves considerable energy compared to a white background. As a visitor, you have a direct influence on the footprint of topsectorenergie.nl in terms of display in this choice.

Insight and overview of IEA research projects through interactive PDF

To gain an overview and insight into the relevant research projects of the IEA program within the scope of TKI Urban Energy, a handy and dynamische pdf has been created. The basis of this PDF is the knowledge and information derived from the Technology Collaboration Programs (TCPs) within the IEA program. The highlighted TCPs are:

  • EBC - Buildings and Communities
  • HPT - Heat Pumping Technologies
  • SHC - Solar Heating and Cooling
  • ECES - Energy Storage
  • ISGAN - International Smart Grid Action Network
  • PVPS - Photovoltaic Power Systems
  • USERS - User-Centered Systems
  • 4E - Energy Efficiency
  • CITIES - Decarbonization of Cities and Communities

Promoting knowledge sharing and accelerating competitiveness To maximize the impact of the research, TKI Urban Energy, in collaboration with RVO, ensures that publicly available results of projects are widely shared with relevant stakeholders. The goal is to promote the application of project results and the optimal utilization of insights generated elsewhere. TKI Urban Energy thereby strengthens the international competitiveness of Dutch companies and the knowledge position of research organizations, thereby increasing the benefits for the Dutch economy.
